| I have been playing saxophone for 16 years, played in many Friday and Saturday night bands and for the last 5 years, I have taught in the public school system, and I have gone through numerous mouthpieces over the years and I wish I would have known about this mouthpiece sooner. In the past few months I have purchased 4 Beechler Diamond Inlays and still hadnt found what I was looking for. I purchased a Beechler Custom Jazz S7S and got it in the mail yesterday. Great response and intonation. The baffle is a tad lower than the diamond inlays so I do suggest a 1/2 strength stronger reed if youre going with the same tip opening as another mouthpiece. I had an S7S inlay I was currently using, and purchased an S7S custom jazz. I had to trim my reeds that I was using on it, so I already ordered a 1/2 strength stronger reed for it. This mouthpiece is not reed picky either! BTW, Im done ordering through other music websites as well. This was my first order through Weiner Music, and they are awesome people and will continue to do business with them! |
