Beautifully finished with a proper stain and high-gloss polyurethane for a waterproof and scratch resistant exterior. This beautiful reed case features a traditional ribbon-style holder or without holder and slim profile. In the interior of the case, the top and bottom sections are covered with a flocking fabric such as crushed velvet to add to the aesthetics of the case. The glass is also affixed to the bottom sections directly above the slot for clarinet. The glass keeps the reeds from warping as when the case is closed the reeds are pushed down by the soft felt on the other side in single side reed case.
