- 6* (tip opening .105) Bright sound, easy to control, good consistency. Explosive, free blowing and open. Very responsive, loud bursts but can be pulled back. Great balance.
- 7* (tip opening .110) A lot of power. Bigger sound overall. Stays big throughout the register and does not narrow the sound as you move up to higher notes. Delivers fast or slow (responsive). Does not stop or stuff up as you blow.
- 8* (tip opening .118) Darker sound, richer, smokey, big sound. Easy to control and very responsive. Cannot be over blown. Beautiful sound.
