Friedrich von Huene subjected almost all original instruments of this period extant in museums to detailed inspection. These data taken together and based on instruments by Jean-Hyacinth-Joseph-Rottenburgh, The MOECK Rottenburgh baroque recorders at modern pitch were conceived. They are today's most-played baroque solo recorders and proved to be particularly reliable. A special feature is their brillant upper register.
