Constructed of high quality polypropylene with "memory", the patented design features vertical rails that rest on the mouthpiece, allowing the reed to vibrate more freely than other metal, plastic, and fabric ligatures. The patented Equa-Tone horizontal rails place equal pressure across the top and bottom of the reed, providing consistency. Equa-Tone tension also allows for reed adjustment and replacement without readjusting the ligature.
