The Runyon Quantum Metal Mouthpiece can provide maximum volume or great subtones without stiffness.
This unique design is played and endorsed by many professional musicians. The Quantum Mouthpiece is made for Big Band, R&B, Top 40, Jazz Combo, and Fushion Band. QUANTUM mouthpieces can be purchased in two kinds of materials: the first is a new high technology plastic, different from our other plastic mouthpieces while the second is made from chrome-plated brass. As a rule of thumb, metal mouthpieces are more durable. However, plastic mouthpieces have a softer embouchure, making them preferable when playing for long periods. The Quantum Metal Alto Saxophone Mouthpiece is available in Facings #4-#14. Mouthpiece is finished in Chrome, and has optional spoiler. Includes Runyon Ligature and Cap.
