The Quantum Mouthpiece is made for Big Band, R&B, Top 40, Jazz Combo, and Fushion Band.
QUANTUM mouthpieces can be purchased in two kinds of
materials: the first is a new high technology plastic, different from
our other plastic mouthpieces while the second is made from
chrome-plated brass. As a rule of thumb, metal mouthpieces are
more durable. However, plastic mouthpieces have a softer embouchure,
making them preferable when playing for long periods.
The Quantum Alto Saxophone Mouthpiece is available in Facings #4-#12.
Mouthpiece is finished in Black and has optional spoiler.

Spoilers are small metal reeds that can be placed in all Runyon saxophone mouthpieces. They increase the loudness of the instrument, yet maintain its overall tone, with the same amount of breath. A beginning student can play louder with confidence. The experienced professional can play with increased authority.
