The SR Mouthpiece is made for Jazz Combo and Big Band.
The SR plays a dark and deep tone. It is an example of the limited edition mouthpieces.
The SR was originally produced by Runyon in the early 1950 s for west coast jazz musicians who required a very dark, thick tone.
The key to its tone is a metal ring joined to the polymer plastic mouthpiece which darkens and deepens the tone.
As the facing increases, the tone increasingly becomes more dark and deep.
The SR Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece is available in Facings #4-#12.
Mouthpiece is finished in Black.
Includes Runyon Ligature and Cap.
