This is a beautiful vintage Selmer Mark VI alto sax, serial number 194XXX. This horn features an original factory high F# key, a special order at the time, and is in remarkable condition.
The original lacquer is about 85% intact on the body, with just minor scratching. The lacquer is about 50% on the keys. There are no major dents or dings. The original neck has about 30% of its original lacquer.
This instrument has been serviced and maintained by the head of our pro shop Mark Kasten. Thanks to its sweet sound and versatility, this can be a fantastic horn for either classical or jazz playing. Call Mark or Simon for more information about this great horn.
