The quality of this instrument is high. The wood is beautiful and the intonation is among the best of all clarinets. The instrument is a little on the resistant side, but the tonal quality is woody and round. I love it. It plays very sharp with many mouthpieces but if you use the Yamaha 4CM it comes with the tone really comes out and the intonation becomes on the money 440 A. This is a real bargain among the pro horns.
